About the Event
Introducing the 1st Annual Zelie's Sweetest! Enter your favorite recipe in one of our categories for a chance to win a prize, and of course the all-important "bragging rights" for the year. Local bakeries and foodies will be our judges along with a people's choice award decided by the community. Categories include: Pies, Bread, and Cookies. The following will apply to EACH category: First place will be awared $50 cash. Second place will be awarded $25 via a Butler County Tourism Gift Card and third place will earn $10 via a Butler County Tourism Gift Card. Get your bake on and join us for this 1st Annual event. We can't wait to see your tasty creations!

This ticket grants entry for one recipe of "pie" or "tart" baked good in the Bake-off competition. Bakers should prepare based on the following quantities to allow for people's choice and Judge's choice voting/sampling- PLEASE PLAN FOR 100 BITE-SIZED TASTES (approximately) Approximate Quantities: Three 9" pies OR Two 12" pies

Cookie Baker
This ticket grants entry for one recipe of "cookie" baked good in the Bake-off competition. Bakers should prepare based on the following quantities to allow for people's choice and Judge's choice voting/sampling- PLEASE PLAN FOR 100 BITE-SIZED TASTES Approximations: 8 dozen 1" or ball cookies 4 dozen 2" cookies, cut in half 2-3 dozen large cookies, cut in thirds/fourths

Bread Baker
This ticket grants entry for one recipe of "bread" baked good in the Bake-off competition. Bakers should prepare based on the following quantities to allow for people's choice and Judge's choice voting/sampling- PLEASE PLAN FOR 100 BITE-SIZED TASTES Approximations: 2-3 standard loaf pan sized loaves (approx. 8 slices, cut into 6 sample bites) 2-3 round 8-10" loaves (slices, cut into sample bites) 2 large 10-12" loaves (slices, cut into sample bites)
